Major Slacking

Okay, so in case it’s not obvious, there’s been some slacking the last few days on our part. I’ve been busy, and likely will be for most of September, but that’s not to say we won’t have some good shit happening; we do.

So here’s what’s up. Hoibak is going to start doing some blog stuff. He did an interview with Aram Arslanian¬† on a recent trip to Vancouver and I’ve read it. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t one of the best interviews I’ve read in a long time. No joke. He’ll be dropping it soon. Also, I’ve started transcribing that interview with JD from Shipwreck that I was talking about. And, there’s a few of us from Toronto going down to Championship Vinyl for the FIRST STEP’S LAST SHOW. I’m gonna try and actually get an interview with Stephen about the break up. There’s something on it in the interview with Aram.

Here’s what you need to know today:

  • I’m not going to write H2O or Reign Supreme reviews. There are some good ones here and here with pictures. I need to blog faster.
  • Black Ships/Relics/Vatican Chainsaw Massacre/Titan next Saturday.
  • As per the flyer above, No Harm Done on the 13th. Check out their new album Escape, especially if you’re into pop-punk. It’s really good.
  • Mongoloids dropped off, it’s now CRUEL HAND/True Colours/Molested Youth/Come Clean, October 6th.
  • Trap Them/Furnace/Vatican Chainsaw Massacre(record release)/Black Birds October 9th
  • The Carrier are coming back.
  • TERROR is here tomorrow.
  • Reprobates are playing what might be their last show on Sunday at the Bad Cave.
