Past Due

If you’re following this blog on the regular, you’re aware of the fact that the post per day count is low right now. For that, again, I apologize. Seriously, if you are interested in contributing to the blog in any way, come talk to me the next time you see me at a show. I’m easy to find.

These photos were taken at RAH’s record release show. The polaroids were take by Gloria Zhao. The digital stills were taken by Marc Mammoliti. Huge thanks to them for contributing. I’ll try and write something again soon.

A Little News & More Have Heart Photos

My bad on taking some time to post again. Started a new job this week and it’s been busy. I missed LEMURIA last night and was a bit disappointed cause I heard it was awesome. Tonight, DISASTER STRIKES are at Siesta with PREVENGE, DIE BRUCKE and MOLESTED YOUTH. Come check it out if you can. On Tuesday, CRUCIFIST are playing at SNEAKY DEE’S with MAD MEN and SLAUGHTER STRIKE, which should be another good one, and in less that two weeks SOUL CONTROL, THE ENDLESS BLOCKADE, HAGGATHA and TITAN are playing at Siesta.

That’s just the beginning of the fall. Non-stop great shows happening in the city.

And now, looking into the past, I finally got my roll of film developed from the HAVE HEART show a couple weeks ago.

I’ve only received photos from two photographers from this show, so if you have any, please send them in. I know there were more of you!

RAH photos will go up soon. Until then, think about this:

Oh yeah, and IRON AGE is here on October 12th. See you in the pit.

Some Photos From Have Heart + More

Here’s the first batch of HAVE HEART photos I received. I’ve yet to receive pictures from any other bands’ set but I’m going to develop my roll of film today and I’ll post those as soon as I can. The first five were taken by Chris Robinson and the ones without the watermark were taken by Carlo Cruz. Thanks go out to them for sending them in!

AND EATING GLASS’ LAST SHOW. They’re breaking up, so on September 25th, they will be playing for the last time with MOTHER OF MERCY, CREATURES, FORTUNE TELLER and PLANETxDANGER at Siesta Nouveaux. There’ll be a flyer soon.

ANS are playing Monday night at Rancho with MATURE SITUATIONS. GO!

RAH photos soon!

CSaturday

I was unable to attend CAREER SUICIDE show on Saturday. From what I’ve heard and seen, it was a wild gig. This post is to serve as an open call to anyone who was there to share stories or pictures free the show. Please feel free to contribute whatever you can. I’ll post whatever we get sent in as well as give credit. Email reviews, stories and photos to STUCKINTORONTO AT GMAIL DOT COM. Anything and everything is welcome.

Photos from Radio Silence (pt. 2)

Here’s the rest of the photos. You’ve got SUPERTOUCH, NEGATIVE APPROACH, some goofcheese, and the unofficial, unannounced after party that happened afterwards. Enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who made this show great.

How Do You Feel?

negative approach

What can I really say about this past weekend? Both NEGATIVE APPROACH and SUPERTOUCH were fantastic. Even better than anyone could’ve expected. I’ll have pictures to post from Saturday by tomorrow. Until then, thank you to everyone who came out to any of the events. No thanks to Vik, cause he decided to ditch on one of the most important hardcore bands ever to go watch pop punk. He even skipped FIREWORKS over there. Different strokes for different folks, but that still sucks. Harass him for it.
